You have the following options to delete your personal data in the comments:

  1. If you have posted any personal data in a public message, go to the article’s comment section and click the text showing the number of comments. You’ll be redirected to GitHub’s page where the comments are hosted. There, you can edit or delete your comment.

  2. If you want to keep participating but not use your real name, simply change your GitHub username according to GitHub’s rules. Your comments will remain, but your identity will no longer be tied to your real name.

  3. If you no longer want to participate and want to delete all your comments, go to each article where you commented, click the comment count, and delete them on GitHub. If you need help, contact the site author via the email on the About page. To delete your GitHub account, follow the instructions in your GitHub account settings.
